This business was inspired by our passion for property care and natural attention to detail. We both play a hands-on role in our day-to-day operations, performing regular home checks and ensuring each property is secure, maintained, and ready for its owners' return.

Cayla Sue Birchfield
As the daughter of a longtime real estate broker and property manager, I’ve grown up around the ins and outs of caring for homes and serving property owners. Over the past few years, I’ve worked part-time as an assistant to my mother in property management, gaining hands-on experience while balancing life as a stay-at-home mom to my beautiful daughter. Now, I’m excited to be part of our home watch team, helping provide trusted, reliable care for second homes across Western North Carolina. I bring attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and a personal commitment to treating each property with the same care I give my own home.
Adrienne Clark Higdon
As a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, I have a deep appreciation for the mountains, the people who call them home, and the unique needs of second homeowners in our area. With over a decade of experience as a real estate broker and 12 years in property management—including long-term rentals, vacation rentals, and owner association management—I understand what it takes to care for a home as if it were my own. I started my home watch business to offer peace of mind to homeowners who are away, combining local knowledge with professional oversight to ensure your property is in good hands, year-round.

Together, we serve Jackson, Macon, Swain, and Haywood Counties with care, integrity, and a commitment to treating every home like it’s our own.
